Sea Scamp Cost

Cost

Sailing:
Everyone who sails Sea Scamp pays £36 per day, less any allowances. The charge for cadets is £18 per day. Cadets are those aged 23 or below and in full-time education.

Any guests who sail become members for the duration of the cruise. The temporary membership fee is £5 per day for the first two cruises, and £12 per day thereafter.

Membership:
Members pay an annual subscription, or hold shares in the club and pay a reduced subscription.

An annual subscription membership for adults is £90 (or £75 by standing order); for cadets it is £45 (or £35); and family membership is £125 (or £110).

The shareholding members own the assets of the club. A shareholding member with £600 shares pays £40 per year (or £25 if paid by standing order).

Refit allowance:
The refit allowance is £1.60 for each six hours refit time. This is credited against each day's sailing fees during the following season.

Reciprocity with the Offshore Cruising Club:
The Offshore Cruising Club, which owns and operates our sister 100 square metre yacht, Overlord, has a similar charging structure. There is reciprocity with the club, so that our members can sail on Overlord, and are entitled to claim their refit allowance when doing so.
